Cowboys outlast Steelers as Dak Prescott connects with Jalen Tolbert for the game-winning touchdown!

The Dallas Cowboys struggled to find success in the red zone for much of their 'Sunday Night Football' matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, they turned it around just in time to secure a 20-17 road victory.

Dallas scored its only red-zone touchdown of the game on its final offensive play after four drives. Dak Prescott connected with Jalen Tolbert, who was breaking across the field on a fourth-and-goal play, managing to shake off Steelers safety DeShon Elliott.

Elliott got caught in traffic in the middle but made a desperate attempt to recover. He reached Tolbert just as the ball arrived and tried to knock it loose.

Tolbert secured the catch, reclaiming the lead for Dallas with just 20 seconds remaining in regulation. The throw marked Prescott's best moment in a game where he made several unusual mistakes, including two first-half turnovers in the red zone—one of which led CeeDee Lamb to confront Prescott on the sidelines

Even with Prescott's ups and downs, the Cowboys largely overpowered the Steelers, outgaining them 445 to 226. Pittsburgh managed to stay competitive mainly due to Prescott's three turnovers.

While the victory was far from perfect, the Cowboys will gladly accept it. They improve to 3-2 on the season, just one game behind the unexpected Washington Commanders in the early NFC East standings.

The clock runs out on the Steelers.

Time expires for the Steelers as they attempt a downfield pass that nearly results in an interception by Justin Fields. They then resorted to lateral plays in a desperate effort to score, but were unable to gain any ground. The Cowboys secure the win, 20-17, and improve to 3-2 on the season.
